At night, the sandy beige dial of the timepiece, which is limited to only 500 pieces, illuminates in radiant green. Indexes and hands light up in bright blue. An innovative composition of luminous pigments guarantees the perfect night readability that is so essential for a professional diver’s watch. The 50ATM water-resistant case with an automatic helium valve and anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, as well as a matt, high-tech ceramic bezel fade visually into the background thanks to a black DLC coating. An integrated rubber strap including diver’s extension underscores the unmistakable tool watch character of the Ternos Professional Megalume.
DOUBLE LUMINOSITY WITH SUPERLUMINOVA® or maximum luminosity, the luminous paint SuperLumiNova® C3 was used over the entire surface of the dial. During the day, the warm beige tone is reminiscent of the fine-grained sand of popular diving destinations. In the dark, the ultra-phosphorescent green light, which is clearly distinguishable from the numerals, hands and the luminous dot on the bezel, unfolds after being charged accordingly. These elements emit a cool blue light thanks to the SuperLumiNova® BGW9 filling.
The limited edition of 500 pieces is clearly visible on the back of the watch: the individual number is engraved amidst a relief of stylised carbon fibres, and this is repeated in the limitation certificate accompanying the watch. A multi-polished wooden box completes the set.
